1. At the FMCSA Portal Account, select “Yes”, and click “Next”.

2. Enter your portal username and password and click “Sign In”. If you have an FMCSA Portal Account, select “Yes”, and then click “Next”. If your portal account has not been granted access to the Clearinghouse, you will need to log into your FMCSA account to request this access.

3. Examine your contact info and add an alternate phone number if you’d like to. Click “Next”.

4. If you are an administrator for more than one company, you will need to register each company separately. Select the company you would like to register from the dropdown menu and click “Next”.

5. Examine your company’s information and verify it’s correct. Select if you are an owner-operator (a single-driver company). Click “Next”. If your company information needs to be updated, you will need to update your company’s registration with FMCSA.

6. If you would like DriverCheck to act as your Third Party Administrator (TPA), you will need to designate your TPA in the Clearinghouse. This step is mandatory for ALL owner-operators. Type in: “DriverCheck Inc. OFFICIAL” in the field labeled “Who is your C/TPA?” and click on the search icon.

7. Find “DriverCheck Inc. OFFICIAL” in the list and click “Designate”.

8. You will be prompted to authorize us to perform specific functions on your behalf. Once you have finished designating C/TPA(s) and authorizing them to perform ALL three functions, click “Next”. This will send a request to us to confirm your designation.

9. Examine the Clearinghouse Terms and Conditions. Check the box to confirm that the information you provided is true and that you agree to the terms and conditions and click “I Agree”.
