SMS for DC Access Notifications Program

1.    DC Access Notifications are sent to your cellular device via (SMS) for the purposes of completing work related health and safety assessments and questionnaires.

2.    Your employer/workplace has signed up with DriverCheck to deliver these messages electronically to you. One example of a DC Access Notification you could expect is a message asking you to complete a COVID-19 Self-Assessment or to participate in Virtual Care. These are the kind of messages you can expect to receive when you opt in to DriverCheck’s SMS.

3.    You can cancel the SMS service at any time. Just text "STOP" to the short code. After you send the SMS message "STOP" to us, we will send you an SMS message to confirm that you have been unsubscribed. After this, you will no longer receive SMS messages from us. If you want to join again, just sign up as you did the first time and we will start sending SMS messages to you again. Please note that if you do decide to stop SMS service that you should inform your employer/workplace of this as this is a work related service.

4.    If you are experiencing issues with the messaging program you can reply with the keyword HELP for more assistance, or you can get help directly at ClientSupport@DriverCheck.ca or toll free at 1 800 463 4310 (option #6).

5.    You understand phone carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.

6.    As always, message and data rates may apply for any messages sent to you from us and to us from you. You may receive up to 1 message per day through this service. If you have any questions about your text plan or data plan, it is best to contact your wireless provider.

7.    In order to participate in the messaging you must have a wireless device capable of two-way messaging, be using a participating wireless carrier, and be a wireless service subscriber with text messaging service.
