Excellence Awardee Finalists Announced for the 2025 DriverCheck Award for Canada’s Safest Public Transportation Employer

DriverCheck is proud to announce the finalists for the second annual DriverCheck Award for Canada’s Safest Public Transportation Employer. The Award will be presented at the Canada’s Safest Employers Awards Gala in Toronto on October 9th to honour and celebrate organizations that prioritize the health and safety of their teams and the public they serve. 

The DriverCheck Award for Canada’s Safest Public Transportation Employer finalists have been selected by a diverse panel of workplace health and safety leaders for their outstanding commitment to creating strong safety cultures, supporting the wellbeing of their employees and demonstrating leadership in safety through proactive risk management, fitness-for-duty initiatives, and a clear focus on continuous improvement. The finalists include: 

  • Air Canada 

  • Jazz Aviation LP 

  • Metrolinx 

  • Toronto Terminals Railway 

  • Toronto Transit Commission (TTC)
