Original Post:

DriverCheck is thrilled to announce that as of March 31st, we are offering qualitative hearing protection fit testing (including mobile testing) at all DriverCheck Clinics in Alberta. Our clinics are located in Calgary, Edmonton, Fort McMurray, Nisku, and Sherwood Park, however, if you require testing outside these areas please get in touch and we will try to find a testing location convenient for you.

DriverCheck is also offering quantitative hearing protection fit testing for both banded and non-banded earplugs at our Calgary and Edmonton clinic locations.

For more information about DriverCheck’s hearing protection fit testing (qualitative or quantitative) please contact our Client Support team at ClientSupport@DriverCheck.ca or call (800) 463 4310 (Option #4). You can also contact your DriverCheck representative directly.

We are offering hearing protection fit testing as part of the legislative change to the Alberta Occupational Health & Safety Code which is effective March 31, 2023. Employers are now responsible to ensure workers are fit-tested for the hearing protection devices they use and wear.

By partnering with DriverCheck you can be confident that your workers will be properly fit tested for their hearing protection as our nurses and technicians have the knowledge, training, and skills to perform qualitative and quantitative hearing protection fit testing. They are supported by medical oversight, directives, and standard operating procedures to ensure this assessment is done safely and correctly.
