DriverCheck is Now SOC 2 Type II Certified, Strengthening Data Security and Client Confidence

SOC 2 Type II Certified

DriverCheck is proud to share that we are now SOC 2 Type II certified, reinforcing our long-standing commitment to protecting the sensitive data entrusted to us. This milestone comes as we continue to accelerate our technology innovation.

SOC 2 Type II is an internationally recognized security standard developed by the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA). It confirms that a company has strong, independently audited controls designed to safeguard customer information. A third-party auditor reviewed DriverCheck’s policies, procedures, and system controls, verifying that they meet or exceed strict requirements for security, availability, processing integrity, confidentiality, and privacy.

“This achievement reflects our unwavering commitment to protecting client data,” said Osvaldo Ros, Vice President, Technology at DriverCheck. “The safeguards behind eManda, our web-based fitness-for-duty program management software, now carry the assurance of SOC 2 Type II. This gives us the confidence to keep innovating while delivering an even stronger client experience.”

For DriverCheck clients, being SOC 2 Type II certified provides added assurance that sensitive health, compliance, and testing information is protected under recognized industry-leading standards. It also supports our ongoing investment in secure, reliable, and scalable technology solutions, including enhancements to eManda planned for the coming year.

Achieving SOC 2 Type II status strengthens DriverCheck’s position as a trusted partner in occupational health, safety compliance, and drug and alcohol testing, and reflects our dedication to building secure and dependable systems for the safety-sensitive industries we serve.
