DriverCheck Celebrates 30 Years of Supporting Healthier and Safer Workplaces Across Canada

DriverCheck 30th Anniversary

DriverCheck is proud to mark its 30th anniversary in 2026, celebrating three decades of supporting workplace safety, worker health, and regulatory compliance solutions for employers across Canada.

Founded in 1996 in Ayr, Ontario, DriverCheck was established on a physician-led model focused on ensuring that medical expertise and clinical judgement guide workplace fitness-for-duty decisions. What began as a small operation providing drug and alcohol testing services for Canadian transportation companies has grown into a national provider of workplace medical testing, occupational health services, and fitness-for-duty programs.

Today, DriverCheck supports organizations in a wide range of safety-sensitive industries, helping employers manage risk, meet regulatory requirements, and maintain safe, productive workplaces while supporting workers throughout the employee life cycle.

“As workplaces continue to evolve, we remain committed to innovating our services and delivering trusted medical expertise that helps build a healthier and safer world,” said Maggie Dunnett, President of DriverCheck.

DriverCheck will recognize this milestone throughout 2026 by celebrating the employees, clients, and partners who have contributed to the organization’s success over the past 30 years.
